Dr. Shujun Gao, MD, MPH, PhD.

Affiliation: Dr. Shujun Gao is currently Senior Director of Epidemiology, Clinical Safety and Pharmacovigilance at Daiichi Sankyo Inc. in Edison, New Jersey. The primary focus of his research is on drug safety using pharmacoepidemiologic research methods. He worked at Sanofi for 7 years as a pharmcoepidemiologist between 2006 and 2013. He received his PhD in epidemiology from the School of Public Health of University of Minnesota, Twin Cities in 2006. He got his Master degree from the Chinese Academy of Preventive Medicine (now Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention), Beijing, China, in 1999 and equivalent MD degree in Preventive Medicine from the Shandong Medical University, Jinan, China, in 1996.
